Application
It is only possible to apply for the degree program for the winter semester. There is no admission for the summer semester.

- Wait for notification from FAU
- Qualification assessment process
- Enrollment (if the qualification assessment process has been passed)
- Find accommodation
Please note: An IB diploma is considered an international university entrance qualification from Switzerland (regardless of the country in which it was obtained).

- Print out the application form and sign it
- Send your application form by post to the FAU Admissions Office
- Wait for notification from FAU
- Qualification assessment process
- Enrollment (if the qualification assessment process has been passed)

As FAU is a state university, the number of staff is limited. Everyone involved does what they can to process applications. Please be patient and refrain from inquiring about the status of your application. However, one of the great aspects of attending a state university is that students only have to pay a small semester contribution, while their excellent education at FAU is financed by tax revenue.
